Helping Museums Bring Collections and Exhibitions to Life
Two Dots Studio partners with museums to develop storytelling, video production, and creative campaigns that help bring collections, exhibitions, and research to life for public audiences. We work with curators, educators, and museum teams to translate complex ideas and cultural assets into clear, engaging narratives.
Our work supports museums in strengthening visitor engagement, expanding access to collections, and improving how stories are shared across exhibitions, digital platforms, and public programming. Every project is grounded in clarity, interpretation, and a deep respect for the stories museums preserve.

What Does Devotion Mean to You?
Some of the best creative briefs are the simplest ones. We asked that question to visitors at the North Carolina Museum of Art and then got out of the way.
What followed became one of the museum’s most successful social campaigns. Real people, unscripted answers, and the kind of honest human expression that no agency can manufacture. We captured, shaped, and helped share those voices with a wider audience, turning a single question into a community conversation that traveled well beyond the gallery walls.
Sometimes the most powerful story is the one already in the room.
Park Packs
No Screen Required
The North Carolina Museum of Art sits on grounds that are just as rich as the collection inside. Park Packs were designed to help families discover both, with activity guides in English and Spanish, hands-on materials, and enough curiosity-fueling goodness to keep kids ages 3 to 10 genuinely engaged.
We partnered with NCMA to bring that spirit to life on camera. A free, borrowable adventure kit that meets families where they are and invites them to explore art and nature side by side across the museum campus.
Because the best gallery is sometimes the one with grass underfoot and sky overhead.

Conservation
Art conservation is one of the most patient forms of storytelling there is. Every careful brushstroke of restoration is a decision to honor what came before and preserve it for what comes next.
We partnered with the North Carolina Museum of Art to document the restoration of an Italian Menorah, working alongside their art conservation department to capture a process most people never get to see. The craftsmanship, the care, and the quiet weight of keeping history intact.
Because preserving art is preserving memory. And that deserves to be seen.
100 Years of Belonging to North Carolina
A century is a long time to show up for a community. The North Carolina Museum of Art has done exactly that, building a collection, a culture, and a sense of belonging that generations of North Carolinians have called their own.
We partnered with NCMA to mark that milestone the right way. Not just celebrating what the museum holds on its walls, but what it has meant to the people who have walked through its doors. The legacy, the stories, and the living proof that art has always had a home here.
One hundred years in. Still just getting started.

NCMA Artists
Broad Strokes, Fine Lines
Art education doesn’t always happen in a classroom. Sometimes it happens in a community, guided by a working artist who knows the neighborhood as well as they know their craft.
We partnered with the North Carolina Museum of Art to bring their Artist Innovation Mentorship program to life on screen. The result was Broad Strokes/Fine Lines, a video series featuring NCMA AIM artists Jimmie Sutton, Alexandria Clay, Rebecca Wolf, and Ryan Cureton, each bringing their own voice, county, and creative perspective to themes of portraiture, abstraction, landscape, history, and process.
Rooted in communities across North Carolina. Connected to centuries of art at the NCMA in Raleigh. And now accessible to any young artist, anywhere, ready to pick up where inspiration leaves off.

NC Museum Conference
Conferences End. Good Ideas Shouldn’t.
We partnered with the North Carolina Museum Conference to do something simple but powerful. Turn the people in the room into the content. Their expertise, their perspectives, their best practices — captured on camera and shaped into something the wider museum community could learn from.
Because the most valuable thing at any conference isn’t the keynote. It’s the conversation happening right beside it.
