Helping Community Organizations Share Stories That Drive Change
Two Dots Studio partners with social impact and community development organizations to communicate mission-driven work through strategic storytelling, video production, and creative marketing campaigns. We help translate programs, initiatives, and lived experiences into clear, compelling narratives that strengthen awareness, trust, and community engagement.
We work with organizations focused on equity, housing, workforce development, public health, and community wellbeing to communicate the systems, services, and partnerships driving meaningful change. By making complex initiatives more accessible, we help strengthen alignment between organizations, stakeholders, and the communities they serve.
Every project is grounded in listening, context, and a deep understanding of place. Our work helps organizations share stories that reflect impact on-the-ground while supporting greater visibility, collaboration, and long-term community investment.

Microaggressions
The Conversation Most Workplaces Are Avoiding
They are not always loud. They are not always obvious. But they are always felt. Microaggressions in the workplace are one of the most consistent and damaging experiences for Black workers across every industry.
We partnered with the National Black Workers Center to create a series that lets Black voices lead that conversation. Real stories, real experiences, told with honesty and care. Not to point fingers, but to open doors. Because change in a workplace starts with someone being willing to say what has always been true.
NBWCP Anthem
We Ready Campaign
We Ready. Were You Listening?
In the wake of a movement that changed how America talked about race, justice, and labor, the National Black Workers Center organized something necessary. A campaign that turned peaceful protest into collective power, centering the voices of Black and essential workers who had long been undervalued, overlooked, and underpaid.
We partnered with NBWC to document that energy and give it a life beyond the streets. Because a movement is only as lasting as the story told about it.
BCBS Food Is Medicine
Food Is Medicine
What We Eat Is a Health Issue. Access Is Too.
Across North Carolina, food insecurity and diet related illness like diabetes are not just personal struggles. They are community ones. Blue Cross NC partnered with local farmers to do something about it, connecting communities with locally sourced produce and treating food access as the healthcare issue it has always been.
We helped tell that story. Because when a statewide program is doing work this grounded and this necessary, it deserves to be seen clearly, shared widely, and understood for what it really is. Medicine that grows in the ground.
Dix Chapel
Dix Park Conservancy. Greg Poole Jr. All Faiths Chapel
A Space That Held People. Now Its Story Gets to Be Held Too.
For many, the Greg Poole Jr. All Faiths Chapel at Dix Park was more than a building. It was a sanctuary. A place where people found peace, community, and a sense of belonging during some of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
We partnered with the Dix Park Conservancy to honor that history as the chapel was relaunched. Gathering the voices of those who once called that space their safe haven and making sure their stories were part of what the space carries forward.
Some renovations restore walls. This one restored memory.
Truist Foundation
Moving Capital to Where It Has Always Belonged
The Truist Foundation is not interested in doing the minimum. Its work is organized around a simple but powerful belief. That historically excluded communities deserve more than acknowledgment. They deserve investment, infrastructure, and a genuine path forward.
We partnered with the Truist Foundation on a motion design project to bring their story to life visually. Career pathways, small business support, the Inspire Awards in partnership with MIT Solve, and a commitment to equitable grantmaking that goes beyond the press release.
Good foundations do not just fund things. They build them. We helped make that visible.

40 Acre Co-Op: Rooted in Promise. Growing Something New.
The name says everything. 40 Acre Co-op was built on a promise that was made and broken. Founded to help Black farmers reclaim land, close the wealth gap, and grow something sustainable, it stands today as the first national Black farmer cooperative since the Reconstruction era.
We partnered with 40 Acre Co-op to put faces to that mission. Farmers like Dr. Brenda in Virginia, who represent a growing movement of Black growers across the country cultivating hemp with intention, expertise, and a deep sense of purpose.
This is not just a story about agriculture. It is a story about reclamation. And it is one worth telling on camera.
