Thirty years of impact, seen in the moments that matter.

For thirty years, Wake County Smart Start has invested in the people, programs and relationships that help young children and families thrive. For its 30th anniversary, Smart Start asked us for a film that would bring that work into the room and make the case for investing early.

We found the story through Miss E, a center administrator who has watched three decades of impact happen in everyday moments. Every line she speaks came from her own words. We filmed a single day at a partner center, from drop-off to pickup, and let real classroom life carry the story.

The film premiered at Pearls of Promise, Smart Start’s anniversary celebration and the push toward a $300,000 endowment, and an evergreen version keeps working as the campaign continues.
